PENNSYLVANIA LAW

According to the Human Rights Campaign, an organization that fights for LGBT equality in Pennsylvania alongside state and local groups, these are the laws in PA:

The state will issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, and it has laws and policies that facilitate a gender marker update on driver’s licenses and birth certificates.  It prohibits housing and employment discrimination, and also discrimination in public accommodations, based on sexual orientation or gender identity. However, while the state does have some positive laws in place for the LGBT community, many laws are still missing.  There are no laws that address hate crimes, bias, or bullying based on sexual orientation or gender identity, and there is also no restriction on “conversion therapy”.
